Lietuvos Energija (LE) group is seeking to become a partner of developers of new technologies related to the energy sector. Therefore, LE helps startups by providing early-stage investment or allowing to participate in the startup acceleration program.
Lietuvos Energija launched the first corporate venture capital (CVC) fund in the Baltics in 2017. The “Smart Energy Fund powered by Lietuvos Energija” is managed by Contrarian Ventures. It has seven partners from three different countries. The fund’s partners have more than 45 years of combined VC experience and have invested in more than 70 startups. The fund seeks to identify the best startups in the energy sector that are looking for pre-seed or seed investment.
